Through studying with Kavithaji, Joanne has learned that facing the challenges of life in a practical manner with continuous self-inquiry are keys to our growth. Kristen Beifus
Her desire for radical transformation drew Kristen to Kavithaji's all-encompassing, women-centered, embodied practices for householders. Kavithaji continuously shows her where she is stuck in a dualistic mindset, and allows her to open to the possibility of freedom, and the sweetness of life in every moment. Kristen supports all aspects of the The Renegade Method and anything that is needed to expand the reach of Kavithaji’s teachings.
Laura Humpf
Laura is honored and eternally grateful that Kavitha Amma found her when she was in the midst of searching for an authentic, radical woman Tantric teacher. She is enamored with the Nitya Devis, Kali and the Maha Vidyas and is always blown away by how Kavitha Amma’s teachings bring together the mystical and the mundane. As a long term student Laura has the privilege of being a part of various inspiring projects and long term programs.
Shri Steep
Shri (Jenna) Steep is a long-term student of Kavithaji and an ardent devotee of Devī. Through continuous application of the teachings Kavithaji shares, her entire life has been transformed and she is profoundly grateful for the exquisite grace of this unfolding path. Shri provides operational and project management that supports every aspect of SI.
Tanuka Gupta
As one of the Senior students of SI, Tanuka is an ardent devotee of the Daśamahāvidyās. She continues to learn and integrate their teachings under the tutelage of her beloved Guru, Dr. Kavitha Chinnaiyan. Tanuka enjoys being part of the Social Media team where she can delve into the teachings while presenting them creatively to the community. She is also involved in coordinating and facilitating SI’s long term courses and group events.
Tatiana Lokis
Tatiana has profound interest in awareness practices as they relate to understanding the nature of the mind and its relevance to a spiritual path and a life of full potential. Tatiana contributes to the activities of Svatantra Institute with editing and visual designs for Social Media and course documents. She also provides Sanskrit Glossary support.
Vanitha Ratnam
Vanitha is a long-term student of Kavithaji. Kavithaji’s simple and applicable teachings, rooted in the authority of ancient wisdom, have been transformational in her life. Vanitha was instrumental in developing the Svatantra logo and brings her intuitive artistic gift to the Svatantra offerings and social media designs. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn and share in this vibrant space.
